'Vermont American - Peter J Newstead' Vermont American Australia LTD is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Vermont American Corporation of Louisville Kentucky in the USA. We run a distribution business in Australia selling cutting tools and other products to the Hardware and Industrial Products Distribution Channels. We rely heavily on the ability of our Sole Representatives to be able to visit their customers on a regular basis and in those instances where we have had cars off the road through accident I have found that Travis Hough and his team at Lighwood Autos to be very responsive to our needs. The organisation through its insurer "Lumley General Insurance" has been associated with Lightwood Autos & Smash Repairs of 6 Newcomen Road for some five years. All repairs to our vehicles have been undertaken to the satisfaction of the organistion and in particular, myself being the responsible officer for transportation. The organistion relies very heavily on its transportation system and Travis Hough and his team have been very flexible in the way they operate and interact to the needs of our services. Any repairs are scheduled to suit holiday breaks for the organisation to reduce the impact on service operation. Provision of a loan vehicle has assisted our open employment service tremendously. Whenever the organisation is unfortunate to be involved in an accident, usually at the other driver's fault, Lightwood Autos makes the process of repairs simple. Travis and his team organise to come out on site to prepare a quotation, send the quotation together with claim forms and any other information directly to the insurer, arrange for a mutually of fuss or disruption. Having a direct and excellent working relationship with Lightwood Autos, I recommend them to other organisations, as well as, private customers.
